A grant of $5,000 from the Credit Suisse Foundation enabled The Bahamas AIDS Foundation (TBAF) to create and distribute 56 Family Support kits to the families of children in its Outreach Programme. The kits contained sanitary supplies (masks, disinfectant, hand sanitizers, etc.) along with credit on the digital wallet OmniCash to allow families to purchase food at several different stores. 252 individuals benefited directly from the Family Support Kits.

It is well known that the pandemic has affected the mental health of many individuals and the grant also allocated funding to provide counseling for some of the more vulnerable children in the Outreach Programme. Without the support of donors like the Credit Suisse Foundation the important work of TBAF’s Outreach Programme could not be sustained during these unprecedented times.
