In commemoration of World AIDS Day, December 1st, The Bahamas AIDS Foundation will host several awareness activities including its annual Fun Run Walk Cycle, and Candlelight Vigil and airing of new Public Service Announcements and Social Media activities.

During the COVID-19 pandemic we have been delivering food and groceries to our clients. Our clients have continued to have access to the Social Worker, psychological counseling, clinic support, academic support and other areas of assistance.

The Foundation has also been focusing on education/awareness through the creation of Public Service Announcements (PSA), the animation of a storybook and the creation of flyers.

This year, we offer opportunities for you to demonstrate your support for the mission of The Bahamas AIDS Foundation. Our Mission includes HIV/AIDS education, training, research, support and advocacy and reduction of HIV transmission.

Here are some ways you may demonstrate your support:

  • Become a sponsor.
  • Participate in our Fun Run Walk Cycle
  • Participate in our Virtual Candlelight Vigil
  • Wear Red on Fridays in November
  • Adorn your business with red ribbons
  • Participate in the Social Media activities
